FIRST HUDSON VALLEY QUEENS' COUNCIL BRUNCH
THIS WAS THE ONLY QUEENS' COUNCIL THAT TAKES IN THE ENTIRE HUDSON VALLEY.

Red Hat Society Queen Carol Ann was Founder and Chairman of the Steering Committee
Hudson Valley Violets (Chapter ID #34355) and Queen Bees (Chapter ID #74780) are registered in Greenwood Lake, Orange County, NY 10925

Queen Mary and Vice Queen Barbara were members of the Steering Committee and The Magenta Mommas (Chapter ID # 27442) registered in Newburgh, Orange County, NY 12550

The theme was an indoor garden party. Attendees wore garden hats with flowers. Floral designs decorated everything including games and favors. Everyone was inducted into our Chapter's Order of the Posies.

SECOND HUDSON VALLEY QUEENS' COUNCIL BRUNCH

BESIDES EXTENDING OUR INVITATION TO OTHER COUNTIES AND STATES THIS WAS THE ONLY QUEENS' COUNCIL THAT TOOK IN THE ENTIRE HUDSON VALLEY OF NYS.

This was the second multistate Queens' Council (NY, NJ, Pa.) anywhere.

The theme was a brass button brunch with brass buttons as decorations at the brunch. Attendees were inducted into the Order of the Brass Button.

Since "Hudson Valley Queens' Council" has become a popular name among different Queens' Councils, the name of this Queens' Council will be from here on out Brass Button Queens' Council.

The Queens' Council will meet once a year in November (Buffet Brunch) at The Thayer Hotel and will always be called by its new name Brass Button.

On Sunday, 7 November 2010 at 10:30 AM, the Fifth "Brass Button" Queens' Council Brunch/Meeting will be held in The Thayer Hotel's dining room at West Point, Orange County, NY 10996.

This Queens' Council always takes place the Sunday before Veteran's Day at The Thayer Hotel on the grounds of West Point Military Academy.

Loretta was in-charge-of the five door prizes and helped by spreading the word about the event.

The theme was vintage or antique accessories.

HATTIE THE TRAVELING HAT WAS AT THIS EVENT.

The theme was Girlfriends' Day, celebrating EQM Sue Ellen's Birthday which was really 22 July. All attendees wore an accessory with a heart design or shape and were inducted into the Order of the Heart & The Queens' Club. They signed two special books in red ink symbolizing a blood oath to secrecy. There were two winners in the heart maze game who won bracelets.
